For Sale: 1970 Oldsmobile 442 in Fishers, Indiana for sale in Fishers, IN
Vehicle Description Up for sale is my 1970 Oldsmobile 442 that I have owned since July, 2000.
It has the original numbers matching 455, 4 speed transmission, the functional ram air hood, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM stereo with the 8-track player, a tic-toc tach, rear defroster, rear spoiler, black vinyl top, and 3.
42 rear end.
The body restoration was done back in 2000 prior to my purchase and the engine was professionally rebuilt by Dave Himes Automazing in 2004.
A new clutch was installed in 2007.
The stock mufflers were replaced with Turbo Flow mufflers around 2005.
The Radial T/A's have under 300 miles on them.
This is not a trailer queen.
It is driven during nice weather and to local shows.
The carpet was replaced before I bought it and is in near new condition but it doesn't fit perfectly.
I did buy new carpet for it but it's still in the box.
The rear seat is original but the front seats have been recovered.
All of the plumbing for the A/C is in tact but when I pulled the engine I kinked and ruptured one of the small lines and have not replaced it.
I also have 442 fender covers and a brand new heavy rubber trunk mat.
The Radial T/A's have under 300 miles on them.
I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving it but priorities have changed and it's time to let someone else enjoy it.
The previous owner provided me with a full album of pictures from the restoration.
The car has always been covered and stored in a heated garage since I purchased it.
