Historian

Mission:
To research, collect, write and maintain narrative content and photographic images relating to historical events, trends and culture over the past 150 years.
Expected outcomes of this position:
Mold and fashion historical data into short (150-250 words) compelling, easy-to-read narrative pieces that will engage a general audience and be part of our personal biography book product
Develop and manage historical databases and sources for key local, national and global historical events, stories, and trends
Compile and maintain an index of historical images while confirming copyright usage
Be a contributing customer focused member of the Memory Ventures family
About You:
Demonstrated passion for creative writing and ease of producing compelling stories
Educational background in areas such as history, journalism, English, sociology and other liberal arts will be a plus
Hobbies and personal interests such as genealogy, scrapbooking, creative writing, blogging, etc. will be a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
