Job Description

Summary:
The Officer-Security provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:
Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
Investigates, documents and manages security incidents and hazards.
Maintains knowledge/follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations.
Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety.
_Education &
Experience:_
Preferred Qualification: Associate's Degree.
Minimum Qualification: Two years of experience working in security.
Preferred Qualification: Experience in hospital security, law enforcement, or as a military policy officer.
Minimum Qualification: High School diploma or equivalent.
_Licenses & Certifications:_
Minimum Qualification: Valid Driver's License in the State of Indiana.
