2K a year Job Purpose Part-Time Sales Associates are extremely customer service focused individuals that interact with our customers daily, while constantly providing support to the entire bakery.
These outgoing employees correspond with customers in person, through social media and over the phone.
Duties and Responsibilities Sales Associates are cross-trained and encouraged to develop skills across a wide spectrum of bakery activities.
Elite customer service is the primary duty, along with other tasks such as:
Greeting customers Operating a cash register Answering the phone Operating bakery software Filling display counters Fulfilling and packing orders Inscribing cakes Providing support to other departments of the bakery Cooperating with team members to deliver the ultimate professional experience to all customers Qualifications Qualifications include, but not limited to:
Outgoing personality Above average math skills Working in a fast paced, high production environment Standard computer skills Ability to stand on feet for a full shift Working Conditions Part-Time Sales Associates are required to work 2-3 days after school and eight hours on Saturdays.
During summer break, you can work up to 40 hours.
Holidays can affect the set schedule as more preparation is needed for major holidays and/or special events.
Physical Requirements This job can be physically demanding where employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks and consistently maintain an excellent level of customer service.
