This may include working with cleaning chemicals, small machines, maintenance and related equipment.
KNOW HOW Candidates must at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, or its equivalent and minimum 2 years related experience.
Candidates must be able to acquire certifications in First Aid and attend other mandatory trainings such as New Employee Orientation, Child Abuse Prevention, YMCA Safety and Risk Management and related equipment instruction training within 60-90 days of employment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES Performs minor equipment maintenance and manual labor as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Program Director.
May oversee special projects assigned by the Director of Buildings and Property.
May train and/or provide guidance to other Branch Maintenance staff teams on assigned projects.
Assist Maintenance/Buildings & Grounds staff in conducting weekly equipment and/or safety checks.
Minor equipment maintenance and repair and moving equipment and/or heavy objects from one location to another as needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
