- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays - Perform basic dental procedures - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Order and maintain dental supplies and inventory
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification - Coronal polishing - Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Proficiency in using dental software - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients.
