Where you fit inThe Patient Account Representative for Community Home Medical Equipment is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivables to ensure maximum/timely reimbursement for services performed for billing and claims.
This Patient Account Representative position will focus onsupportingthe Billing Documentation retrieval functions for Community Home Medical Equipment.
(prior authorizations, medical records and physician orders) This position will allow the flexibility to work from home upon completion of the initial training period.
Your exceptional skills Adheres to all network and departmental procedures and policies Complies with applicable state/federal laws and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state and government health plans Documents all actions taken on accounts in the system to ensure details are present and understandable by others Obtains and maintains knowledge base & billing requirements required for assigned payors Performs Daily Communication with Patients & Providers regarding Billing Documentation requirements Ensures confidentiality of patient records Ensures DAILY reviewing, Logging, and sending of documents required for Billing of HME/DME Maintains a consistent and timely follow up process to obtain the needed documents required for HME/DME billing Ensures DAILY response and communication for resolution with Outsourcing Partners as requests are received- via email, phone call, tasks in Brightree, or Partner Portal Ensures DAILY responses and communication for resolution with Patients/Providers as needed Meets productivity standards designated by the department Meets QA standards designated by the department Ensures timely resolution of assigned tasks Your exceptional qualifications Must be knowledgeable regarding payer billing guidelines Intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional Customer Service Phone Etiquette & Experience Exemplary Organizational Skills Ability to multi-task High School Diploma or GED required Experience Preferred but not required:
