As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence.
Your passion for beer and exceptional account management skills will play a vital role in achieving our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and other retail outlets, to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Conduct regular sales visits and meetings with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and provide product recommendations.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop effective strategies to drive sales and meet targets.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and efficient customer service.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Participate in industry events, trade shows/promotions, and samplings/tastings to promote our brands and foster relationships with potential and existing clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience in account management, preferably within the beer and/or food & beverage industry.
Strong passion for beer and knowledge of different beer styles, brands.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in using new software - particularly Microsoft Office, and sales analysis tools.
Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation to visit client locations.
Formal education preferred.
